the warfighter. Now it's time to expand this expertise to
work for Indiana businesses, and that's where Crane Technology
Inc. is taking the lead.
Vision
To be a nationally recognized public-private partnership
and business development resource, which serves the nation's
defense and the state and region's economic growth.
Mission
To develop technology-based business in the Crane region
by leveraging Crane and its partners' technologies and capabilities,
and substantially increase the impact of Crane on the Indiana
economy.
Objectives
- Educate Indiana employers about Crane's assets.
- Position Crane as a major player in the statewide development
system for technology and product assistance.
- Attract companies that provide, create, and foster new
technology development in Crane stewardship areas.
- Increase partnerships with Indiana colleges and universities
to bridge the gap between research and development application.
Strategy
- Foster advocacy from universities and business leaders
and elected officials.
- Gain endorsement from the state.
- Seek financial support to continue outreach and educational
efforts to raise awareness of Crane's value to our nation
and to the state's economy.
- Establish a formal alliance with Crane.
- Develop agreements with economic agencies across the state.
